In conjunction with PJ’s Promotions, ACADA is the primary organizer of the Famous Nyack Street Fair, held throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall, on Broadway and Main Street in downtown Nyack. A proud home to over 300 hundred vendors, the street fair offers quality handmade crafts, unique gifts, delicious food, home decor, antiques and more. We’re proud of our vendors, and our vendors are proud to be out there with us!

Edward Hopper House Museum and Study Center

Edward Hopper House in Nyack, New York is the birthplace of the renowned American artist Edward Hopper (1882-1967). It was built in 1858 by his maternal grandfather and served as his primary residence until 1910. After Hopper’s death, the house fell into disrepair, but was saved from demolition and restored by members of the local community. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Since 1971, the Edward Hopper House has been a not-for-profit art center and museum, preserving the legacy and home of America’s most iconic artist. The Edward Hopper House Museum and Study Center is open Thursday through Sunday, 12pm – 5pm.

Rockland Center for the Arts (RoCA)

Rockland Center for the Arts (RoCA) is a 76 year old cultural center dedicated to experiencing & creating art through its School for the Arts, gallery exhibitions, its Catherine Konner Sculpture Park, public programs, performing arts events, Summer Arts Day Camp, & outreach programs. What began as a grassroots organization developed into one of the largest multi-arts centers in the lower Hudson Valley. Originally named Rockland Foundation, RoCA was founded in 1947 by a group of community leaders & renowned artists, including Aaron Copland, Kurt Weill, & Helen Hayes. They drew on the artistic talent in their community by offering art “of a caliber seldom available outside of NYC.” RoCA moved in the 1950s to the property in W. Nyack donated by Maryann Emerson, where it still resides. Today, RoCA attracts over 25,000 visitors & students annually from the region.

RoCA’s mission is to inspire, educate, enrich & provide opportunities for all people to experience our region’s cultural life. Open to the public for free, Mondays-Saturdays, 11am-4pm.
